My musical calling took a circuitous journey, but I gathered many influences along the way. I bring those elements, from the classical music my family listened to as I was growing up, the RnB, funk, and pop on the radio during my younger years, and exposure to multiple genres of music as an adult, (and my alter ego as an arts and culture writer), to my songwriting and singing.
